Coins! Coins! Coins!
Alan has been busy this past year working on coins for the Canadian Mint including a Toonie to celebrate the 75th anniversary of D-Day (which will be in circulation). You can find information on the coins, images and interviews on our home page. Also, updates to the "Works For Sale" page coming soon as well as information on summer art shows. One of the local shows will be announced this week.
We just wanted to let you all know that we have recently added some new pieces to the "Works For Sale" page and updated the "Galleries" page as well. Take a look for yourself! Much more goodies are coming soon. We hope this finds you all well and that you have a wonderful weekend.
Good afternoon and happy Family Day,
A quick update for all of you. A small selection of original pieces are now on our "Works For Sale" page as of today. Any and all purchase inquiries can be sent to us through our "Contact Us" page. Furthermore, we have many more updates coming to the website in the near future... Including a new gallery section and possibly some new videos. Keep your eyes peeled! And lastly, the dates for our Spring 2019 classes are now live and registration will be open to new students after Monday, March 4th, 2019. If you have any questions regarding classes do not hesitate to contact us.
We are here with another update for anyone who is curious about what has been going on with us. We will be updating our social media more in the coming months and would love for you to follow us on Instagram! You can find us by searching @danielartca and hitting the follow button. The other major update that we are working on is the redesign of the gallery section and the addition of a "Works For Sale" page that will showcase all the prints, originals and other works that are available to buy. It will not be a web store (yet), but if you see anything you on there like please don't hesitate to contact us through our contact page. These updates will roll out over the next week or two. We hope everyone has a wonderful holiday season and all the best in the new year.
Fall Classes and New Media
This is just a quick blog post to bring two things to your attention. The first is that the new website layout will be up and running in the very near future. Things have been very busy this summer but it looks like the (many) changes will finally be online in the next few weeks.
Secondly, Alan and Lea are sad to have to say this... but due to unforeseen circumstances that are out of our control we have had to cancel the fall classes. People have contacted us about them and unfortunately it is not something that we can do at this moment. Do not fret though! We will be back in the spring. More updates and information on future classes will be posted in the next month or two.
Speaking of changes and new content... I have just posted Alan's new 2017 classes video and a gallery of our Instagram posts on our home page. Take a moment to check them both out.
Joe here again with an update for summer 2017. We have decided to upgrade and redesign the website for maximum interactivity, content and connectivity. Over the next few weeks you may notice some changes or pages being down. Worry not, they will be updated as soon as possible but the process may take a while. We are also branching out to other forms of social media and will be starting to release short Youtube videos throughout the summer that will feature Alan and a whole list of friends and family. But first, we begin with our brand new Instagram account! You can follow us there @danielartca for a behind the scenes look at our lives, our art and catch pieces we may be selling. or events we may be at.
Cheers to the future,
Shows in August
A little update from Alan and Lea regarding shows this summer in Muskoka, Ontario.. Alan has paintings in two Muskoka Arts and Crafts juried art shows - Town Hall, Bracebridge (July 6 - October 31) and Canada Summit Centre, Huntsville (August 18 - November 14). If you are in cottage country this month, take some time and take in some great art. Hope everyone is enjoying their summer.
Good afternoon! This is a short blog post for a small but exciting update. The dates for the upcoming fall session of Alan's art classes have been posted! If you are at all interested in attending then I would suggest you take a peek at the "Art Classes In K-W" page. There you can find all the information about joining, pricing and dates. Hope everyone is having a lovely Saturday.
Joe here again.
We are in the process of upgrading Alan's gallery selection to show multiple medium and content specific galleries. It should only take a day or two but for now, as I work, his original gallery has been taken down. Sorry for any inconvenience this causes but the new galleries will be much more organized and feature way more content. Sit tight.
Hello all! Joseph here once again! Today I posted a visual introduction for Alan's new workspace and art classes. The video was produced by myself and is the first of many that will be posted over the next few months on this page, I have to say, the new studio space is so inviting and welcoming. It seems to be a hot spot for creativity as I myself have spent time in there writing music and editing film. Furthermore, the vibe between the students and Alan was comfortable and very relaxed. Between takes they would talk and laugh, sharing advice and opinions. It is truly a wonderful, one of a kind experience. Although the spring classes are over, soon enough it will be time for another round and any information that you need will be posted in the "Art Classes in K-W" page.
